Fayette County Superintendent Dr. Demetrus Liggins paid a visit to STEAM Academy this week to witness firsthand the growing journalism program, sitting down with Felix Lingemen, Isaac Kinnard, and Isaac Angeles Plakosh to discuss recent Senate bills and other political developments across the country that could impact education initiatives in Central Kentucky. Liggins commented after the podcast, “I’m so glad I had these questions ahead of time – you guys didn’t hold back.” Liggins toured the studio spaces and looked at the student produced website, STEAM Academy News.
