Last year, STEAM Academy’s English 1 students had the opportunity to go to the library at UK so we could access their archives to research careers we were interested in.
This field trip was part of our work ethic unit and the research we conducted was for a podcast we would make about work ethic and careers of interest. The information we had access to through UK’s library helped us o put together information about future career options.
Students got a chance to see what life was like on a college campus. The experience inspired many to really consider what their future might look like.
